The Concord Scout House Soirée

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the historic battle of Concord, the Concord Scout House is proudly offering an afternoon and evening of stories, dance, song, and historical exhibitions with family-friendly entertainment on Saturday April 19, 2025.

Throughout the day, exhibitions will include demonstration of historic letterpress printing. Broadsides: News, prose and verse from Colonial America, History of the Concord, Scout House (the Historic Stow Barn), Colonial-themed Children's Books, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in Concord and a card making activity for veterans with the Daughters of the American Revolution.

3:30 - 4:00pm Liberty Flag Contest Launch
4:00 - 5:00pm Broadside Ballads and Sea Shanties with David Coffin of Revels and Mara Bonde
6:00 - 7:45pm Colonial Dancing (participatory)

Suggested donation at the door of $10 (adults) and $5 (under 18 or over 65). Cash, check or venmo will be accepted.
