Guest WiFi/CSH Internet

The Scout House maintains a limited bandwidth internet connection to meet our mission and operational needs.

To ensure network security, we do not allow guest access to our wired network.

We're happy to provide, on an as-available basis, WiFi connections for the convenience of our guests. Guest WiFi SSID ("name") and Security Key ("password") information is posted on a wall sign to stage right in our main hall.

Connection duration may be limited and WiFi clients required to re-authorize periodically. We prioritize network use for our own purposes over guest network traffic and this may impact the speed or stability of guest connections. In particular, latency or bandwidth-sensitive streaming or video conferencing applications may be negatively impacted.

We make no guarantee for availability or performance of our guest WiFi service. As a volunteer-run organization we're not staffed to respond to network issues in real time. Should you need guaranteed network availability or bandwidth, we recommend obtaining suitable service from alternative sources such as 4G/5G cellular suppliers.
